Necessary qualifications and skills: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in orthotics and prosthetics; Master's degree preferred. Must be licensed by the Arkansas Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics. ABCOP or BOC Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics required. Three (3) or more years of work experience with Durable Medical Equipment. Knowledge of prefabricated orthotics is strongly preferred.

Summary: Must have a complete understanding of diagnoses, orthotic prescription, measurement, fitting and follow up of all types of orthotic devices. Must have excellent communication skills and be highly organized. The Certified Orthotist / Prosthetist will work directly with Physicians, therapists, and all health and allied health professionals to design, measure, fit and provide follow up care for patients referred for care. He or she must be self-directed, able to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and have excellent interpersonal / customer service skills.

• Processes correct paperwork upon delivery or service call.
• Performs over the counter sales functions.
• Adheres to dress code.
• Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.
• Exhibits flexibility in job duties and maintaining customer service.
• Writing and computer entry is required.
• Must maintain work attendance and punctuality.
• Performs other job duties as needed.
