POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor, this position serves as a Crime Intelligence Analyst through the application of analytical research and interpretive skills and techniques, and the use of numerous investigative, intelligence, and informational sources/data bases. This position is responsible for oversight of the multiple projects that support the mission of Enforcement and Investigative Support (EIS). This position provides services to improve community knowledge and engagement regarding sexual offender, career offender and missing persons information within the criminal justice community, non-criminal justice agencies and the public. This position plans and organizes new processes and procedures within the sexual predator mailbox to aid both the public and criminal justice community. This position collaborates with the Policy & Case Analysis Team (PCAT), Offender Registration Data Management (ORDM), and Offender Enforcement & Apprehension (OEA) to ensure compliance with registry. This position works independently and in teams to accomplish objectives established.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Note: 30 semester hours, or equivalent, of coursework from an accredited college or university is equivalent to one year of experience.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:



BASE SALARY:

Crime Intelligence Analyst I

$40,000 – Bachelor’s degree*

Crime Intelligence Analyst II

$43,000 – Bachelor’s degree* and one year of analytical** experience.

Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst I

$45,000 – Bachelor’s degree* and three years of analytical** experience.

Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst II

$54,000 – Bachelor’s degree* and five years of analytical** experience.



**Analytical experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year- for-year basis. Analytical experience must be in the fields of: criminal intelligence, military intelligence, crime analysis or investigative experience in a law enforcement agency.



NOTES:
