Title – Technology Support and Operations Specialist
Number of Leased Workers needed – 1
Tentative end date – six months possibly longer if good fit.
Work shift (days/times) – 1st shift Monday through Friday 40 hours
Work Location –16W22419 Watertown Rd. Waukesha, WI 53186, 100% onsite at this address.
Travel Required (% of travel) – none, just to office fives days of week.
Is this a temp to perm position – temp, possibly hire on if that is available for BU.
Role Purpose/Summary
As the Technology Support and Operation Specialist, you contribute operations information and support Virtual training tablets and Digital studios and the digital need of the internal team; resolve problems; identify trends and advance the digital studios and virtual training delivery tools.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ship, configure, troubleshoot, and verify connectivity of Digital Expert products.
- Manage inventory of Virtual training tools/tablets.
- Assist in supporting the internal teams technology needs and troubleshooting issues with the Digital Studios.
- Help manage and update Virtual team's A/V and product assets.
- Support internal training events/conferences with A/V support.
- Identify and troubleshoot team member A/V issues to find innovative solutions.
- Act as liaison to distribute A/V and technical updates to cross functional teams and other segments.
Required Skills/Abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Self-management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with networking in information technology
- Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting expertise of A/V equipment and production hardware and software.
- Excellent proactive communication skills.
- Ability to develop, set, and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
- Experience with production and multi-media tools.
Qualifications/Requirements - BS/BA or Technical degree in AV support or equivalent or 3 years of experience in related field
- Comfortable interacting and presenting in the virtual environment
- Driven by advancements in the role of technology to promote new methods of remote sessions
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills from a remote environment
- Interpersonal and telephone communications skills with exceptional professional disposition and demeanor
Desired Characteristics - Bachelor's degree
- Experience with multimedia broadcasting software and tools
- Familiarity with Computer networking and Virtual Machines
- 3+ years GEHC experience in customer facing role(s)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
- Strong communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
- Knowledge in production and multi-media tools (HD cameras, production, and conferencing software)
- Experienced in demonstrating products and solutions to a variety of audiences
