Technical Sales Professional - Strain Measurement - Northeast Region
Home Based: Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York
Overview Our client is a leading global oem manufacturer of Experiment Stress Analysis components and equipment. They are seeking an experienced dynamic technical sales professional to take ownership of their Northeast territory.
Our client offers you superior quality products and a robust technical support department to ensure you continue to win over your clients/prospects while keeping the "strain" on your competition.
If you are a bsme/bsee experienced technical sales professional who has solid experience working with design engineers (providing your clients with winning solutions for their challenging applications) and you are seeking a "non-micro managed" sales environment to preform at your best - then we should talk.
Responsibilities - Maximize sales in territory and win design-ins in conjunction with the Field Application Engineers and divisional management staff.
- Provide applications support and sales assistance for the customer's technical and purchasing staff.
- Demonstrate our products and solutions to the customers; using presentations, samples and/or demo equipment.
- Submit customer visit reports as defined by the Sales Manager.
- Identify new product opportunities and prepare / provide supporting documentation.
- Work continuously with the application engineering team on non-standard projects.
- Arrange technical conference calls with customers and technical team as needed.
- Negotiate the technical requirements for customer specific qualification documents.
- Provide product training and technical presentations to our customers including university level students.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Qualifications - BSME OR BSEE or 15 years industry experience.
- Working knowledge of strain measurement theory and strain measurement technology is required.
- 10 years' experience in technical sales, product marketing or design engineering within the mechanical or electronics industry.
Compensation & Benefits: - Base $120K-$140K + 40% bonus + Car Package.
