Role: Network Administrator

Location: Wayne, NY (Day 1 Onsite)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description:

Must Have:

Network Routing(WAN Technology), Firewall Administration - Security Management (IT IS)

Responsibilities:

Expertise in Routing, Switching and Firewall Security, including hands-on experience in providing network support, installation, and analysis Exposure to LAN/WAN setup, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Perform security operations on ASA firewalls such as IPsec VPN'S, NAT, configuring Active/Standby Stateful failover, and any connect Web VPN Experience in installing and configuring DNS, and DHCP server.

Extensive knowledge in different networking protocols DHCP, DNS, FTP, SFTP, TFTP, Quality of Service (QOS), PAP, CHAP, ICMP, TCP, UDP.

Strong Knowledge in WAN technologies including HDLC, Point to Point, and Frame Relay

Resolving UPS-related issues, including replacing batteries and UPS units, and programming the UPS system as needed to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical systems.

Resolving wireless network issues, including replacing access points and programming new access points as needed to ensure that all users have access to the wireless network.

Resolving switch-related issues, including replacing switches, configuring new switches, and shipping them to stores as needed to ensure that all network connections are properly configured and functioning.

Dispatching technicians to install network equipment and test, ensuring that all equipment is properly installed and functioning.

Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the Network L3 and L2 teams as needed.

Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure that the network is properly integrated with other systems and processes.

Troubleshoot the Network Issues onsite and remotely depending on the severity of the issues.

Experienced in Troubleshooting internet connectivity and hardware related issues on Cisco Networks.

1. This resource should have experience and background with Network Administration.

2. Strong problem resolution skills with ability to identify, diagnose and resolve network problems.

3. Ability to manage various software, hardware upgrades and projects

4. Ability to work effectively with staff, various stakeholders, business partners and vendors.

5. Ability to speak, read and write English.6. Experience with ITIL based systems such as ServiceNow

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and vendors. Ability to function in a team environment effectively and professionally.

8. Ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity.
