**Summary:**

As a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in helping prospective homebuyers navigate the mortgage process, ensuring they find the best home loan solution tailored to their financial needs. We're seeking individuals with a proven track record of self-sourced business within the communities we serve across multiple counties, including Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and nurture new business relationships with external partners, including local realtors, to boost mortgage loan volume.
- Cultivate positive business connections in the community to drive loan referrals to our Real Estate Department.
- Coordinate and host live and web-based events to increase brand awareness and foster productive relationships.
- Strategize and execute territory plans to meet marketing goals, analyzing industry data to inform effective strategies.
- Educate and guide prospective applicants on mortgage options, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service throughout the application process.
- Maintain communication with members and internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely closings.
**Qualifications:**
- In-depth knowledge of real estate lending criteria and regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and achieve goals.
- Demonstrated business development and sales skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and industry-related software.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 4 years of Loan Officer experience, with a minimum of 3 years in self-sourced mortgage business.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed, including evenings and weekends.
