Our client is seeking a Employee Relations Case Manager to work in the Detroit area
SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY: *Conduct document and file reviews
*Obtain, organize, and maintain documentation, evidence, and information regarding case matters
*Help manage timelines and deadlines
*Facilitate document production
*Conduct records searches
*Triage incoming division inquiries
*Prepare coresspondence,
*Intake complaints and allegations of misconduct
*Prepare case reports
*Present case summaries/updates
*May be tasked with special projects on an as-needed basis
CLIENT'S QUALIFICATIONS: *High School Diploma/GED equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
*Experience in managing case files
*Comprehension of employment laws and statues related to employee discipline and discharge, including understanding of due process matters, preferred
*Excellent organizational skills
*Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with varied audiences
*Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters simultaneously
*Proficien in MS Office Suite
*Must be able to pass background check
*Candidates will be asked to complete a placement exercise prior to being selected for an interview
