Local Transportation Driver- up to $25/Hour

Part-Time
MedServices Transportation is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation / Paratransit company that is looking for skilled non-CDL drivers in the Lawrence, Kansas area. As a paratransit operator, you will be picking up mobility challenged passengers and safely driving them to their destination.
MedServices operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. We are actively building a team of part-time drivers that can work a consistent two- or three-day 8-hour schedule.
Pay starts at $20 - $25 per hour based on the candidate’s experience and perceived levels of professionalism and reliability.
Job responsibilities: - Provide safe and reliable transportation to disabled or elderly passengers.
- Perform passenger pick-up and drop-off using GPS based mobile technologies.
- Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspection and report any discrepancies or safety violations.
- Monitor vehicle health, cleanliness, and report any vehicle malfunctions.
- Collect fares from passengers and maintain accurate logs of all fares collected and return to MedServices administration.
- Aid passengers using wheelchair assistance as needed and provide ambulatory assistance when needed to ensure a safe and courteous ride.
- Aid is stretcher transports as required by MedServices clients.

Job Requirements: - Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to comfortably get in and out of vehicles multiple times per day and be able to lift 100lbs unassisted.
- Current Driver’s License from the State of Kansas.
- At least 5 years of non-commercial driving experience.
- No suspensions within the past 5 years.
- No more than 2 traffic offenses in the past 3 years.
- No more than 1 at fault accident in last 5 years.
