Job description
Resonate Learning is seeking an experienced Technical Editor for a full-time position for a 12-month contract (with the potential for additional work):
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Editor.
- Advanced critical thinking and writing skills needed to independently review a large amount of complex information and convey concepts clearly and concisely in written format.
- Experience editing Navy interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMS).
- Experience using IETM publishing software.
- Experience reviewing and ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper sequence of highly technical content.
- The ability to ensure consistency of style and format requirements, as well as adherence to DoD standards.
- Experience interfacing with subject matter experts, engineers, technical writers, and programmers.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
- A bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
- The ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- U.S. citizenship.
- The ability to pass a standard background check and be eligible for a security clearance.

- Navy experience operating and maintaining electronic equipment or training systems is a big plus.
- S or TS Clearance.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25%.
