Description Position Overview: Assists Director of University Productions in program/event planning for Mitchell Hall and the College of Fine Arts and Design Performing Arts Council. Manages and organizes University Productions office operations, including budgets and procedures. Analyzes and resolves administrative services issues or needs. May have contact with sensitive, complex and/or confidential information. Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

Assists Director with managing production and facility budgets. Reviews and maintains files of procurement documentation and invoices paying special attention to accuracy and payment verification. Research financial processing delays to ensure payment to vendors and responses to inquiries are accomplished in an expeditious manner and in accordance with UCO policies and procedures. Maintains University Productions PCard records. Creates student and staff employee jobs in Paycom. Responsible for administrative functions such as surplus, truck check out, etc.

Works closely with the Director of Mitchell Hall in the preparation and negotiation of event contracts. Maintains Mitchell Hall Master Calendar. Manages stage crew student employee payroll and all corresponding documentation. Acts as backup House Manager as needed. Coordinating music concerts with music directors. Coordinates proofs for production programs. The duties listed in this job description are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Qualifications/Experience Required: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results. 5+ years of experience with leading planning, including program development and innovation, program prioritization, and assessment. Appropriate professional accomplishments and credentials. Qualifications/Experience Preferred : Experience in Theatre or related field, preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, human relations, public relations, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, handles multiple tasks simultaneously, and interacts professionally with all segments of the University community. Good supervisory, report preparation and project management skills. Accounting and budgeting skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to hire and supervise employees. Ability to make policy and procedure decisions. Must be detail oriented. Proficiency in MS Office. Applicant must be able to work a flexible work schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
