Manufacturing Engineer

Davenport, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources () is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Davenport, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of moderate scope and responsibility or may be a significant portion of a major and diverse project or process; decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors, and suppliers.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomic improvements for department.
• Establish routings, SOE (sequence of events), layouts, tooling, assembly costs, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations.
• Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.
• Provide production support on product line resolving engineering obstacles

Requirements:

• The role is for a first shift position, however there may be need for individual to flex to off shift role temporarily to support production needs.
