Job description
The Surgical Technologist provides assistance and support to surgeons by preparing and providing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures in the operating r oom . The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and facilitates a safe, effective and orderly operating room to maximize patient safety.
The surgical techs at Rust Medical Center assist with ENT, General and Ortho surgeries. There are 4 OR rooms and on average see about 25-30 cases a day.

Presbyterian Breast Care, for both malignant and benign breast disease, where patients with new cancer diagnoses can receive a same-day consultation with a breast radiologist, breast surgeon, medical oncologist, and radiation oncologist, depending on their clinical needs.
A physician office building offering a wide variety of outpatient services, including cardiology, surgical care, orthopedics and podiatry, neurology, OB/GYN, bariatric and weight loss services, and more.
An emergency department designed to decrease treatment time and triage patients to help them receive the most appropriate care.
An intensive care unit (ICU) that combines the latest technology with skilled physicians and nurses who are both onsite and connected 24/7. Using sophisticated, real-time video feeds and communication tools, our ICU provides an extra layer of care to seriously ill patients.
Patient rooms designed for any level of care, including in-room procedures.
