System Engineer (Journeyman/Junior)

CSEngineering is looking to add Systems Engineers ( Junior through Journeyman level ) to our growing team! The positions will support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) in generating technical Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) requirements, and, in the case of SSIO, integration activities across all SSC programs, through Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to improve integration and mission effectiveness. In this role, you will be familiar with and able to work on the development of Enterprise Level Specifications and Standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Outlined below are the critical responsibilities for this position:

• Conducts AoAs to assess design solution alternatives.
• Facilitates cooperation among stakeholders to define technology applications.
• Develops CONOPS and TTPs, conducts engineering studies.
• Develops the Systems Engineering Management Plan, provides analysis to support reviews such as SRR and SFR.
• Performs engineering functions in support of experimentation, integration and operations.
• Maintains operational efficiency of systems while configuring networks.
• Performs hardware deployments and implements software according to engineering plans.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Current Top Secret or TS /SCI or TS/SCI eligible

• 3+ years (Junior) or 5-10 years (Journeyman) of strong MBSE / Digital Engineering experience, preferably with space systems. Staff need to think 'digital first' and be willing to challenge the status quo, as appropriate to push the change that the Space Force needs.
• Education - BA/BS degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science with Systems Engineering Specialization, Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Space Systems Engineering or relevant field.

Preferred Certifications and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in systems engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science with Systems Engineering Specialization, Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Space Systems Engineering or a relevant field is a plus.
• Specialized training or certifications in MBSE/Digital Engineering tools and methodologies within these domains (e.g., SysML, UML, Modelica).
