Job description
NRS Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate opportunity in Lubbock, TX area. In this role the selected candidate will provide day shift support in the Stepdown Unit. Desired candidate must demonstrate critical thinking skills, strong judgment, and leadership abilities.
Candidates should also have the ability to:
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Must have travel experience, must have experience with level 1 trauma centers
- 2 years of ICU and/or step-down experience, must have experience to trachs / vents / drips, and must have experience with post-trauma-surgical patients.
- CAN NOT LIVE WITHIN 75 MILES OF LUBBOCK
- ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Valid TX or multi-state compact RN license
- Compensation of $3425 weekly gross
- 13-week assignment
- 72 hours per two weeks
- 500 bed Hospital - 29 bed unit 3:1 or 4:1
- Level I Trauma
- Start Date 3.28
