Job description
New Job Opportunity - Senior Systems Engineer:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Langley AFB. Looking to hire an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer with at least 5 years of prior related professional experience (High level Systems Engineer / Admin experience). This position requires technical system administration / integration and cybersecurity experience Will be supporting the USAF - AOC experience is preferred
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- On Site
- Active Secret Clearance is Required for this role
Day to Day Activities:
- Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems
- Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes - Migrating to new AOC infrastructure components - Focus on TBMCS
- Identify achievable AOC WS objectives
- Configures and supports internal and/or external networks
- Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
- Troubleshoots network performance
- Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience - TBMCS , MAAPTK , and Systems integration experience
- JADOCS Experience
- At least 5 years of System Admin experience
- Prior experience supporting the USAF - working in an AOC
- Bachelors Degree
- Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
- Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems
