Since 1940, Precision Threaded Products has been a leading manufacturer of ring and key lock studs and inserts. Due to growth and new business opportunities, we are currently seeking to bring on a Quality Inspector to join us at our facility in Bristol, CT.

The Position:

Using various measuring equipment, the Quality Inspector will perform all aspects of inspection (First Piece Inspection, In-Process Inspection, Final Inspection) of our precision aerospace parts. S/he will also perform secondary work (deburring, drilling, packaging of parts) and develop and process orders for outside services.  

About You:

• You have 2-3 years of experience working in Quality within an aerospace manufacturer
  
• Experience working with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMM, shadowgraphs, Johnson gauges, etc.
  
• Knowledge of AS9102, AS9100, ISO 9001 preferred
  
• You are familiar with calibration systems and techniques
  
• Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability meet all schedule requirements
  
• You have a solid work ethic, are reliable and responsible, and are looking to join an established company where your work and efforts are valued
