Shift : Monday – Friday, core hours 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Summary :

The role of the IT Business Analyst (BA) manages the business requirements for projects, or participates as part of a team on large or complex projects for a business function. The BA role works with business stakeholders to understand and analyze objectives, underlying issues and business case, and facilitate scoping and business prioritization. Investigates business needs, problems, and opportunities consulting stakeholders as appropriate. Owns and manages functional and nonfunctional business requirements, ensuring traceability across stakeholders. Analyzes requirements to ensure they are fit for purpose and adhere to business objectives and consistency, challenging positively as appropriate. Provides input to test analysts on (in particular non-functional) requirements to be covered in test case.

Essential Functions :

• Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact.
• Establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area.
• Maintains a sense of urgency and a positive attitude.
• Monitors industry trends and directions and discusses possible impact on internal strategies.
• Assesses and validates decision options and points and predicts their potential impact.
• Analyze existing systems, processes, and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support project manager in planning, monitoring, and executing projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a related field required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis required

• Forward-thinking and resourceful to skirt red tape and ensure solutions are brought to fruition and requirements are closed properly.
• Ability to problem solve and apply methodologies such as Unified Modeling Language and Rational Unified Process, to prepare detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation
• People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations
• Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, JAD/RAD sessions, use case development, process flow diagrams
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary: $71,420.00 - $96,417.00 DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
