MT Laboratory Manager Hospital Setting / Sign-on and Retention BonusMon-Fri / 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee our laboratory operations in Montana. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of laboratory operations, including personnel management, quality control, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Laboratory Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the laboratory. Key Responsibilities: Manage laboratory personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the laboratory Oversee quality control and quality assurance activities, including proficiency testing, internal audits, and external inspections Manage laboratory inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment Maintain laboratory accreditation and licensure, including ensuring timely renewal of all required licenses Ensure the accuracy and completeness of laboratory records and reports Collaborate with other departments to provide laboratory services and support for research projects Keep up-to-date with new laboratory technologies and industry trends Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field Current licensure/certification in the State of Montana. At least 2 years of experience managing laboratory operations, including personnel management and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing methodologies, and quality control principles Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records Experience with laboratory accreditation and inspection processes Ability to work effectively in a team environment We offer competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth.
