Job Title: Compliance Manager

Job Summary: Sanford Federal, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Compliance Manager to lead and oversee our compliance department. The compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring our company's adherence to all federal regulations, guidelines, and contractual obligations, as well as help the company take the next steps in its development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program tailored to the specific needs of federal contracting, ensuring alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

• Serve as the subject mater expert on all compliance maters related to federal contracting, providing guidance to management, staff, and stakeholders as needed.

• Collaborate with contract managers to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into all phases of the contracting lifecycle.

• Monitor and review contracts, subcontracts, and procurement activities to identify potential compliance risks and ensure conformity with applicable regulations and laws.

• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to assess the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement.

• Stay current with changes to federal regulations, FAR, DFARS, Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis Bacon Act (DBA), and other relevant laws and regulations, and proactively implement necessary adjustments to the compliance program.

• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise awareness and promote a strong compliance culture among employees and subcontractors.

• Interface with relevant government agencies, including the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), as required for audits and compliance reviews.

• Investigate compliance violations, incidents, or breaches, and work closely with legal counsel to address and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Generate reports and communicate compliance-related updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actions when necessary. Requirements:

• Proven experience as a contracting officer, contract specialist, or in a similar role within federal contracting.

• In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Service Contract Act (SCA), and Davis Bacon Acts.

• Familiarity with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) processes and requirements.

• Strong understanding of compliance principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively in a federal contracting environment.

• Excellent analytical skills to identify and assess potential compliance risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism to lead by example and uphold the highest standards of compliance and business conduct.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized approach to managing compliance programs and conducting audits.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Law, or a related field. A relevant master's degree and/or professional certifications in compliance or contracting is a plus.

• Previous experience in a federal contractor compliance role is highly desirable.
