SAIC is seeking an organized and motivated Configuration Analyst in Middletown, RI . The ideal candidate will have prior configuration management experience in the defense industry. You will play a key role in documentation management and submissions. Will gather, and verify data for hardware, software and documentation for entry into the government configuration management system (CMPRO).
Job Duties :
- Provides configuration management support for multiple programs.
- Implements process for publishing baselines and updating baseline records with changes approved via approved CM process.
- Supports update, review, and approval of documents, including standard operating procedures, standard test methods, protocols, reports, and technical documents according to specific approved formats.
- Ensures documents conform with applicable procedures, reviews formats for consistency.
- Creates and maintains document templates as needed.
- Tracks submission due dates to ensure documents are submitted on time.
- Contributes on new business proposals for the CM group, propose CM plans for future tasking and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of relevant experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more related experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software tools. Experience in CMPRO highly desired.
