Job description

The Healio News Editorial Intern will be able to assist in news-gathering and administrative functions for its website for health care professionals, Healio.com, and its print medical news publications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Writing
• Proofreading
• Interviewing
• Medical transcription
• General office assistance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Student in English, Journalism or Communications
• Team player
• Ability to multi-task, be deadline oriented, and possess excellent communication skills
• Some editorial experience is preferred

This is a 10-hour per week opportunity. Selected candidate must be able to maintain a 5-hour shift for two days per week during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm EST). The hourly salary for this position is $15.13.
