Job description
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist 1-3 years' experience for our Laurel/Baltimore region. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services.
Successful Candidates must possess the following experience, skills and education:
- Prepare effective reports and deliverables (including appropriate figures, analysis summary tables, and exploration logs)
- Preparation of Phase I ESA's
- Prepare accurate Daily Field Reports, Chain of Custody forms, field logs, sketches, and similar project documentation
- Ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, site remediation, asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, and project management.
- Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to grow professionally
- BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
