Project Engineer/Project Manager
Compensation in the $80,000 to $130,000 DOE.
Wanted - Project Engineer/Project Manager with military leadership and 5+ years industry experience.
In this role you will:
- Oversee a portfolio of projects
- Evaluate prospective contract bids
- Create Project Scopes, Deliverables, Statements of Work, and Work Breakdown Structures
- Conduct in field assessments as needed
- Complete/oversee project documentation and provides ad hoc reports as requested
- Resolve project technical challenges
- Prepare Project Schedules, manage Critical Path items and coordinate Resource Loading with contractors
- Create Project Risk Registers / Risk Mitigation Plans
- Identify and implement cost and time saving opportunities
- Work with external customers, vendors, utilities organizations, permitting agencies, and other contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep customer appraised of current project status
- Mentor and develop entry-level engineering professionals on the TAS team.
- Create correspondence relevant to the team and project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree – (Engineering / Project Management)
- Experience Leading Projects
- Military leadership/project management experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly flexible and good with consistent changing environments with ability to prioritize and pivot work priorities and workload
- Works well individually and can collaborate well in a team environment
- Understanding of engineering principles across multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, and/or electrical)
- Strong attention to detail and task follow through
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to lead, coach and influence others
- Able to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced work environment
- Possesses a high attention to detail with ability to provide consistent followup
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively
