About the Role
The Corporate Training Specialist is responsible for delivery and evaluation of training programs at American Credit Acceptance. In this role you will focus mainly on leadership and organizational development training initiatives, supporting leaders and Associates on their development journey.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate combination of in-person and virtual training sessions at all levels of the organization using proven adult learning best practices and training methods to meet learning objectives.
- Monitor learner response to training using surveys, feedback, and focus groups and make necessary changes to training materials or facilitation methods.
- Collaborate with leaders across the company and other members of the HR team to facilitate needs-based analysis and establish customized curriculum as needed.
- Partner with a variety of key stakeholders in the planning and execution of leadership and development programs including, Leadership Institute, New Hire Orientation, and Competency Track.
- Support ongoing professional development experiences for trainers throughout the organization, including workshop opportunities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of related classroom or facilitation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Training certification preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Confident and polished professional with ability to deliver presentations and communicate with staff at all levels and group sizes.
- High level of professionalism with demonstrated integrity and humility.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Able to analyze problems and collaboratively strategize for appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills that develop and foster constructive and cooperative working relationships with a diverse population.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual conferencing tools.
- Familiarity with adult learning theories (i.e., ADDIE and/or SAM model) preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
100% Onsite Position. Must be able and willing to work onsite five days a week.
Travel
This position will require up to 20% travel.
