Job description

Job Description

• Have a friendly and professional tone on the phone and when interacting with patients.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Scan documents into the computer.
• Verify insurances and check for referrals.
• Submit prior authorizations for certain procedures.
• Check patients in and out for their visit while verifying their demographic information.
• Collect co-pays and balances from patients.
• Crossed trained for clerical and clinical duties
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable and prompt.
• Computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) experience required.
• Reliable source of transportation.
• Must like to multi-task and be a team player!

Job Type:

• Full-time or Part time candidates are welcome: Must be able to work between 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Experience:

• Recommended 1-year experience working in customer service.
• Patient service representative experience is a plus!

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
