We are currently seeking a TMC Operations - Project Team Leader to join our Transportation – Traffic & ITS Team at our office in Miami, FL.
CHA’s Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development for public and private sector clients. Our team of traffic engineers, transportation planners, and technical staff provide a comprehensive breadth of knowledge and experience in all facets of modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment. From roadside sign inventories and safety audits to the latest intelligent transportation system (ITS) innovations and applications, our professionals are adept at managing the entire design development and implementation process.
At CHA, the TMC Operations - Project Team Leader plays a critical role in the execution of high-quality projects that support the needs of our clients. The professional in this role is responsible for overseeing both technical staff and those in project management roles to include reviewing appropriate staffing levels for the forecasted work, resource leveling, staff engagement, technical excellence and quality, and all operational activities so the team can function at an optimal level. This individual is also responsible for the development of the staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This professional will be measured relative to the team's project net revenue, project PF compared to budget, and expenses, as well as other metrics such as utilization and voluntary turnover.
The TMC Operations - Project Team Leader is expected to direct projects of varying size and scope as well as manage client relationships ultimately leading to a "seller/doer" role. Additionally, t he TMC Operations - Project Team Leader plays an important role in setting visions and strategies for other professionals and understands the professional goals of others.
