We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician. This technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include:
- Perform routine cleaning of the plaza, booths and office buildings
- Maintain the grounds as requested
- Complete all required reports and checklists
- Fill in for toll attendants and give breaks as required
- Perform related work as requested by Management
- Clean and make minor repairs and adjustments to toll collection systems related equipment as requested by Management
- Support Management in office as needed
General description of nature of work:
- The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the toll plaza and equipment related to the toll collection system
- Routine cleaning including, but not limited to, sweeping & mopping, dusting, cleaning of the restrooms, and cleaning of the windows & window shades must be performed properly and as needed. The grounds should be kept free of debris and well-groomed to maintain an attractive appearance.
- Arrive on time to work and perform the duties assigned by the manager of the location.
- Maintain proficiency in the proper collection of tolls and in accurately accounting for any monies collected therefrom and will fill in for toll attendants as necessary.
- Be courteous to customers he/she encounters and assist them as able.
- Preserve a strong working knowledge of TCS sales, reporting and accounting to be able to assist customers with any aspect of their accounts as well as assist Management when and as needed.
- When Management is not on site, the Maintenance Supervisor should ensure operations continue to run smoothly and will be added to the call list in case of emergencies.
Education
- High School diploma or GED
