Job Description: A leading manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate/General Labor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials from metal sheets, performing light assembly work, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light assembly tasks according to provided instructions and quality standards.
- Handle materials coming out of metal sheets with precision and attention to detail.
- Stand for the majority of the shift, maintaining proper posture and ergonomics.
- Lift materials onto skids from table height, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines (items not exceeding 50 lbs; assistance available for heavier items).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety glasses and gloves.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, especially when assistance is required for heavy lifting.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and take short breaks to prevent fatigue during the work shift.
- Wear required long pants and closed-toe shoes as part of the dress code.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs; willingness to seek assistance for heavier items.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with basic assembly procedures and the use of hand tools.

The pay rate is $14 an hour
Hours: 7:30 to 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday
Friday: 7:30 to 3:00 pm
