This will opportunity will be a ground up luxury residential multi-million dollar project on Palm Beach Island, Florida. We are a full-service, quality-driven construction management firm serving the public and private sectors throughout Florida with offices in West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach and Melbourne. We provide professional project management, quality craftsmanship and uncompromising service with a range of expertise and experience in preconstruction, construction management, design-build, general contracting, virtual design & construction, safety, and sustainable construction. Markets include commercial, aerospace, auto dealerships, clubhouses, municipal, education, and university student housing, commercial real estate development, Responsibilities
-Coordinates the execution of new construction projects ranging from $10-30MM by reviewing blueprints and specifications, inspecting work, and overseeing contractors to ensure specifications and safety measures are met, and troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure an on-time and on-budget completion of work.
-Monitors and manages the project budget by reviewing, reconciling, and approving vendor and contractor invoices, reviewing and analyzing financial statements and spending, reporting financial resource needs and issues, and complying the Company's policies and procedures related to budgeting.
-Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
-Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to produce constructability issues and plan coordination problems prior to beginning construction of the project.
-Review and manage design selections and the submittal process with General Contractor, Interior Designer, & Architect
-Develops, executes, and manages the project timetable and completion schedule by prioritizing tasks, accounting for anticipated and unanticipated delays to weather or changes to specifications and plans, and makes recommendations to resolve delay issues
-Participates in weekly OAC meetings to ensure project goals are being met
-Provides regular updates and reporting on the progress of construction projects to company leadership team
-Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports, and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
-Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
-Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction science, engineering, architecture and/or equivalent experience A minimum of 5 years experience in high end residential construction
-Must be able to maintain the flow of progress
-Willing to work the hours required to meet deadline
-Has a strong working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.
-Experience with remote project management (with only occasional visits to job site), preferred.
