We are seeking an impactful Internal Communications professional to produce effective communications that drive engagement! The Director, Internal Communications will play a pivotal role in driving Hasbro’s culture and empowering Hasbro’s most important assets – our employees. You will be responsible for helping to build out the newly redesigned internal communications function to support executive visibility, tell brand and employee stories, and support organizational change. Ultimately, you will help us to encourage our employees, advise our leadership, and elevate the FUN of working for a toy and game company. This is a hybrid position (aligned with our offices in Pawtucket, RI, New York, NY, Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA). A day in the life of a Director, Internal Communications: Develop and implement an internal communications program that is both effective and highly strategic, with focuses on employee engagement, channel management, and leadership governance. Develop and drive the internal brand for our executive leadership team including informal and formal channels. Own and define a communications calendar to plan and align critical messages as well as track the audience, method, and rollout approach for key campaigns. Partner with communications leadership to improve feedback mechanisms and impact or sentiment tracking internally to allow us to be driven by data in making recommendations on future communications. Build and implement coordinated internal communications and impact assessments for the organization and its leadership. Innovate and help us think creatively when it comes to the modalities in which we connect with our employees while owning and refining our channel strategy. Partner with our events team to coordinate on the development and production of all company meetings, brand activations, and employee engagement celebrations. Serve as advisor to senior leadership on messaging, cascade, timeline and opportunities. What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years in internal communications preferably at a global company. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communication strategies and plans especially at a company that experienced great growth, change, or transformation. Comfortable working alongside senior executives and providing in-the-moment counsel related to your area of expertise. Capable of achieving results in a fast-paced environment, often on short timelines. Strong writing capabilities, attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritizing and optimally handling communications within a sophisticated and multifaceted environment. In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the U.S. salary range for this role: $125,300.00 to $232,700.00 . Starting salaries will vary within the stated range based on various factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skill set, knowledge, education, performance, market demands and budgetary considerations. The range listed is just one component of Hasbro’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for annual and long-term incentives.
