Position Summary

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University (MSU), in association with the newly formed Center for Cancer Health Equity Research (CCHER), invites accomplished and innovative scientists to apply for three tenure-track faculty positions, open to all ranks. These positions will primarily focus on cancer research, with an emphasis on the molecular and biochemical mechanisms underlying cancer health disparities. One of these positions is as the Co-Director for CCHER. This role is reserved for an established investigator who will be instrumental in driving the Center's strategic direction and overseeing its research and funding initiatives. The other two positions are aimed at emerging scientists with a strong track record in cancer research, but more senior researchers with outstanding credentials in this area will also be considered. CCHER is a collaborative endeavor between MSU's Colleges of Natural Sciences, Human Medicine, and Osteopathic Medicine, along with the Henry Ford Health System.
