Job description

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence in a charity as it expands globally? Are
you skilled at designing and implementing efficient systems to support organizational growth? If
so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Operations Coordinator.

As our Operations Coordinator, you will work closely with the CEO and departmental leaders to
support the development of our charity as it expands internationally. Your main purpose will be
to design, implement, manage, control, and coordinate our global organization.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Improving management systems to ensure smooth operations and cost-effectiveness.
- Assisting with setting annual goals and building an organizational structure that aligns with our
mission.
- Championing goal alignment across the organization and implementing operational systems for
continuous improvement without undermining innovation.
- Developing and implementing policies, processes, and infrastructure to support our growth and
expansion.
- Anticipating operational needs and identifying growth opportunities, taking the lead in special
projects and key initiatives.
- Refining opera/ng models using a data-driven approach to gauge impact, monitor performance
metrics, and create efficiencies.
- Developing and utilizing tools and systems to support innovation and internal communications
effectively.

Operational Design:

In collaboration with the CSO, you will have the opportunity to redesign our current funding
streams and explore external resources and partnerships to improve quality. You will also assist
in the implementation of marketing and partnership opportunities.

Scale and Growth:

You will play a crucial role in identifying growth opportunities for fundraising and operational
efficiencies within our organization. Working closely with the CSO and CEO, you will help
implement our strategic plan for growth across the organization.

Management:

You will work alongside departmental leaders to drive excellence, achieve results, and maintain
quality while minimizing risk. As the Operations Coordinator, you will have a global vision of
workflows within the organization and hold ultimate responsibility for successful project
management. Additionally, you will maintain awareness of strategic issues affecting the charity
and the sector.

Personal Specifications (Essential):

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

- Experience in strategy development and management, with strong critical thinking and
organizational skills.
- A track record of developing systems and workflows to support the growth of organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills by managing a team and achieving ambitious goals.
- Proven success in project management, overseeing complex work streams to successful
implementation.
- Results-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proactive, team-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to make decisions in the face of
uncertainty.
- Familiarity with cloud-based project management systems.
