Now Hiring Nursing Assistants
The nursing assistant is responsible to work cooperatively with the supervisor and other staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating individual care and programming. This individual should follow up directly with the supervisor on any program or personnel issues within the home. He or she should follow up with the supervisor in areas related to household, medical, or maintenance needs in the home.
The nursing assistant is responsible to provide direct services to the individuals, including assisting with personal cares, assisting with health care, assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation, and supervising, training, and assisting the individuals in every aspect of their lives.
Must have completed an approved nursing assistant training and testing program within 10 years of hire date. Must provide a certification or transcripts of curriculum taken. Certification does not have to be current but may not be revoked.
Additional qualifications
in lieu of a nursing assistant certificate;
HOURS WORKED
May be full or part-time; with a mixture of weekday and weekend hours. The specific number and times of scheduled hours should be set upon hiring. The nursing assistant may request a change in hours. The supervisor may approve and/or mandate a change in hours based on services and individual needs. All persons in this position should be prepared to work weekends and holidays.
