Job description

CSS is hiring a part-time Facilities Custodian in El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Empty trash containers daily and pickup/remove miscellaneous trash in the general areas of trash/recycling containers and dumpsters.

• Clean doors, windows, stairs and sweep/power wash all building entrances including ramps and steps.
• Clean up spills, remove stains, and dust common areas.
• Maintain flooring by dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, and/or shampooing.
• Clean/sterilize drinking fountains and eyewash stations.
• Clean and polish stainless steel railings.

• Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets and urinals, clean mirrors, refill soap dispensers, and refill paper products dispensers.
• Clean and disinfect common spaces, training rooms, exercise rooms, lockers, and pet areas.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years residential or commercial housekeeping experience

• Must be able to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor cleaners, power sprayers.
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits, good judgment and exemplary customer service skills.
• Must be able to apply, understand and carry out oral and written directions in fluent English.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and wearing the necessary protective equipment.
• Must be attentive to detail and perform repetitious work for long periods of time

• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be dependable, flexible and open to change
• Must be dog-friendly

Requirements:

• Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license

• Must pass a criminal background check for past seven years and identify all countries lived in the past seven years
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening prior to employment
• Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than two hours per day. Physical activity may include stair climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, and repetitive motion. The worker is subject to handling hazardous materials. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to large moving equipment, mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and loud noises.

CSS is predominantly a Federal Contractor and is subject to following the terms of Executive Orders. CSS requires all Employees (Direct, Indirect, government, state, and commercial), including employees working from home/remotely, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. Exceptions to the COVID-19 vaccine requirements may be provided to individuals for religious beliefs or medical reasons. Requests for an exception must be submitted to the CSS HR Department.
