If you answered yes to these questions, you might be just who we are looking for. The Marketing Consultant is responsible for helping our clients build and market their brand. We have over 35,000 broker clients and many of them are looking for guidance and recommendations when it comes to how they should be approaching marketing. The focus of this role will be to collaborate with our clients, analyze what they are doing across marketing channels today and provide recommendations and considerations to help them grow their presence and business.
- Strategic approach with external clients to identify marketing goals
- Troubleshooting client challenges when it comes to marketing road blocks and provide detailed solutions
- Brainstorming unique and innovative ideas to help our clients grow their business with marketing tactics and channels
- Reviewing and evaluating clients’ current marketing presence and execution across owned, earned and paid channels (i.e. brand identity, website, social, email, PR, etc.), write detailed recommendations for improvement from both strategic and tactical perspectives, and formally present those recommendations to clients over the phone and/or video calls
- Tracking the marketing landscape to stay up to speed on the latest trends our clients should be aware of and incorporating
- 2+ years experience across multiple marketing channels – understanding of website and social channels are a must!
- Proactive, excellent attention to detail
- Ability to think off the cuff and provide value feedback
- Strong ownership skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills – experience with client relationship management and client service is strongly preferred
- You are comfortable being on the phone 50% of the day
- Understands how to drive results through marketing
- Ability to evaluate, formulate, prepare, write, and present findings and marketing recommendations to clients
- Ability to solve complex problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
- Onsite attendance is required
