We are looking for an intern to join our Production Audit team. If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager, Financial Accounting.
What You Will Do
- Implement fieldwork through performing audit testing by reconciling, reviewing and analyzing payroll and production costs on aspects of the Network Television business
- Reconcile information from 3rd party vendors, including file setup, research, spreadsheets and reporting information in an Excel format
- Collaborate closely with internal and external business partners regarding audit results
- Participate in special projects within the production audit department to gain additional exposure outside of immediate department
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, pivot tables, filters) and Word
- Familiarity with Access
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year
Education
- Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) a degree in accounting, finance, business, or other business-related field
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
- Must be at 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through January 2025
- Must be available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship; 40 hours each week during the summer and 20-24 hours during the fall
- Must provide own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area . Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
