Job description
The successful candidate for this pivotal position will play a key role in leading the business development strategy, customer engagement, and opportunity identification and qualification for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role involves close collaboration with the SAIC Homeland Security Business Unit Executive Team, Business Developers, and Capture Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and cultivate relationships between the company, strategic partners, and key DHS contacts.
- Identify, develop, and implement both short-term and long-term business strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Take ownership of maintaining long-term relationships with DHS contacts, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and contributing to the growth of SAIC revenues.
- Act as the primary interface for all SAIC products and services, ensuring a deep understanding of DHS's evolving business needs. Align these needs with SAIC capabilities to provide comprehensive life-cycle solutions.
- Proactively engage with customers before and after the sale, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and fostering enduring partnerships.
- Provide essential support to the sales team by developing and nurturing positive customer relations. These relationships play a critical role in influencing service and product revenues.
