Job description
Expand your professional career as a Procurement Coordinator. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth flow of computer hardware logistics, from shipping and receiving to customer support and technical assistance.
REQUIREMENTS- Excellent organizational skills for managing the shipping and receiving of computer hardware, including laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, etc.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Friendly and courteous demeanor with a dedication to being a customer advocate and contributing to the success of the business
- Comfortable working with local and remote management, providing regular status updates and reports
- Ability to think creatively, handle ambiguity, and provide innovative solutions
- Punctuality and reliability, keeping all appointments and being available to assist customers
- Working knowledge of computer hardware and basic technical support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle boxes containing computer hardware
- On-site availability at the local office Monday through Friday, excluding company holidays or other office closures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a dedicated customer advocate and positive representative of IT
- Collaborate with customers, management, and vendors to coordinate PC replacements at various locations
- Provide basic technical support for new PC setup; escalate issues to the Service Desk when needed
- Coordinate, receive, and organize computer hardware returns
- Resolve customer issues and escalate to management as required
- Manage the shipping and receiving of large volumes of computer hardware
- Lift up to 50 pounds and handle boxes containing computer hardware
- Utilize Excel, Outlook, and Word daily to communicate with customers and organize shipments
- Track the PC refresh process and provide weekly reports
- Perform other tasks as required
