Experience and Education

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Ten (10) years progressively responsible, related experience to include at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity.

·5 to 10 years of echo sonography and structured heart experience preferred. ·

· Applicants without the stated preferred degree, but with significant additional related experience may be considered.

Job Duties

Contribute to strategic and operational planning, coordination and goal setting in collaboration with hospital and Ambulatory Administration, Imaging Services Leadership, Department of Radiology Administration, and University Leadership.
Monitor, report and manage Imaging Services employee productivity and access to Imaging and Radiology.
Recruit, manage, develop and motivate Imaging Services supervisors  and employees – maximizing performance and employee satisfaction.
Review, implement, monitor, and improve Imaging Services quality, performance and safety.
Contribute to the development, implementation and management of plans to start new services, and grow existing service volumes.
Develop, monitor, report and manage Operating and Capital Budgets – emphasizing comprehensive equipment and facility planning and ongoing expense reduction.
Develop, communicate, monitor and enforce policies, procedures, protocols, pathways, schedules, and other work processes.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and accrediting standards.
Participate in the development, implementation and management of Information Systems processing images, schedules, business and financial data and operational information, collaboratively with Administrative, IR, Financial, Admitting and HIM staff.   
Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in a hospital or hospital clinic environment.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
