Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Specialist. This is a full-time direct hire role located in Torrance, CA. This company is a small startup who is backed by Angel and VC investors who share the passion in revolutionizing the quality of life as we age. As the foundational early member of the team, the Manufacturing Operations Manager will have the opportunity to grow professionally with our client. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this exclusive search assignment. Our client provides unlimited PTO and solid benefits. Summary: The Manufacturing Operations Specialist will lead and execute the broad scope of operational responsibilities necessary to launch innovative products on time, within budget. Areas of responsibility include procurement, supplier selection and qualification, demand planning, logistics, order fulfillment, and Quality Management System development. This is an individual contributor role. As the business grows, they will participate in designing the necessary structure and help mentor new hires. Responsibilities:

• Be the principal day to day contact for vendors and manufacturing partners; Manage supplier performance, costs
• Execute day to day procurement for both direct materials and other purchasing requirements
• Develop the product demand and capacity plan in conjunction with stakeholders including sales, finance and external manufacturing and logistics partners
• With Finance and Sales teams develop the quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes necessary to support company needs
• Efficiently convert high level objectives into actionable plans that support the movement through the product lifecycle from engineering development to running production
