As a Senior Accountant in the Accounting Team, you will play an integral role in our monthly and quarterly financial close process. Your main responsibility will be related to ASC 842 leases and Fixed Assets. You will also help develop efficient and scalable processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of work experience which includes accounting operations, month-end close, and managing ad hoc projects. This role will report to an Accounting Manager.
You will: - Be responsible for ASC 842 Lease accounting with a basic understanding of lease modifications
- Be responsible for Fixed Assets accounting on a monthly basis, including data center cost capitalization and asset reconciliations
- Partner with internal Procurement and Production Engineering teams to resolve issues or answer questions
- Coordinate internal and external audit requests including preparation of supporting reports and documentation.
- Support the tax team on yearly property tax filings and audits for all locations with fixed assets
- Work on ad hoc projects, such as improving procedures, automating processes and researching accounting topics
You have: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree and 3+ years of relevant experience(CPA)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., US GAAP)
- Audit and Compliance knowledge related to internal controls, risk management, and external audit processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience related to NetSuite (Fixed Asset Module), Floqast, LeaseQuery, Zip and Audit Board
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$97,320-$127,570 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
