Overview of Position
Creative Financial Group is looking for a Practice Development Specialist who is responsible for managing all the activities that will support the integration and sustainment of business technology tools designed to develop career advisors. A successful practice development specialist will consult with firm leadership, advisors, and sales assistants to drive integration of business technology tools with a goal of practice optimization.
Responsibilities
• Consult with firm leadership to develop, leverage, and promote firm goals for business technology tools
• Consult with advisors to develop their goals in relation to business technology tools while ensuring they help grow their practice
• Proactively search out solutions to maximize productivity, operational efficiency and growth by collaborating with firm and home office partners
• Create action plans to identify and address gaps in meeting established firm and advisor goals
o Meet monthly with General Agent to review progress, gaps and opportunities
o Report on advisor progress to sales managers
• Utilize reports to identify gaps and opportunities for driving sales growth
• Drive adoption, training, and serve as the primary contact for practice management, business technology tools and strategies
• Partner with firm’s training director to coordinate and facilitate the introduction of business technology tools to new advisors
• Learn new business technology and skills as they are released
• Some travel required
• Other duties and projects as assigned
Results Expected
• Grow and sustain the integration of business technology tools into firm workflow and advisor practices
• Provide timely communication and training to all firm associates
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activity leveraging CRM reports and dashboards
• Effective management of action planning, evaluation and sustainment plans to support firm goals
• Maintain a strong support structure and partnership with home office resources
Measurement Criteria
• Improved and/or sustained adoption metrics to firm goals which should correlate to MassMutual corporate goals
• Measurable improvement in efficiencies tied to business technology tool integration
• Solid action and sustainment plan to support and maintain technology growth in the firm
Qualifications (Skills, education, training, and licensure)
• Results-driven, confident, and a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Training and facilitation skills
• Strong working knowledge of practice management functions, processes and systems
• Proficient and adaptable with technology
• Ability to create and manage to plan with vague or defined timelines
• Ability to create and leverage metrics for reporting
• The ideal candidate will have experience in a financial services field or with MassMutual
• College degree or equivalent industry experience. B.A./B.S. degree in a business discipline preferred
• Wealth Management and/or knowledge of the securities industry
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Life or FINRA licenses are a plus
