A leading biotechnology company is seeking a Software Data Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of software solutions, including low code, custom code, and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of development experience and experience with Python, Javascript, JQuery .
Software Data Engineer Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $45-$55/hr
- Worksite: Leading biotechnology company (South San Francisco, CA 94080 - Hybrid - 3 days onside/week)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 10 Month Assignment
Software Data Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of software solutions, including low code, custom code, and cloud-based applications.
Software Data Engineer Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of development experience and experience with Python, Javascript, JQuery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience working with current web-based technologies and infrastructure.
- Experience with reporting visualization tools such as Tableau, SEEQ.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)preferred.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing preferred.
- Experience with information management systems, data historians, business intelligence, or data warehousing tools preferred.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to explore innovative technologies to consistently achieve desired results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter who actively takes initiative to correct issues with systems.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux computer systems..
- An understanding of biopharmaceutical process manufacturing practices
preferred.
- Familiarity with batch manufacturing automation controls (e.g. RSBatch)preferred.
- LowCode/NoCode tools such as Tulip Interfaces, Quickbase, etc preferred.
