Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Location: On-site in Warren, MI
Salary: $100k-$140k DOE
Requirements: At least 8+ years experience in manufacturing engineering within automotive industry, 5+ years of Management experience
We are a global automotive supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission and electric drive components and systems. Due to company growth, we are adding a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to our brand new team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, proven experience in manufacturing engineering within the automotive industry, and strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing activities related to automotive powertrain and electric vehicle products. Additional responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel
- Ensure production operations are running efficiently
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, processes, and procedures
- Regularly assess and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Promote lean manufacturing principles
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Optimize manufacturing processes
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering (or related)
- Master's degree a huge plus
- 8+ years experience in Manufacturing Engineering within Automotive industry
- Powertrain and/or electric vehicle product experience a huge plus
- 5+ years of Management experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles
- Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD and manufacturing software
