This is an exciting time for us and our team is growing.  We are looking for a highly motivated hands-on Technical Lead who will play a critical role in the design and implementation of some of our core applications. You will be involved in every aspect of software development from design through to implementation and maintenance, while bringing a focus on quality and security in our software. This individual should champion good engineering fundamentals, be motivating, and inspired to mentor team members, helping them to grow. Our Technologies include AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker containers, Angular, .Net, C#, Python, CICD processes and pipelines.  A successful candidate will have an established background in SAP BRIM developing Cloud and customer facing experiences, technical ability, project management skills, effective communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, designing and development of new software and web applications. Our team supports all the Systems, Applications and tools that run the Effectv Advertising Business. Analyzes, tests, and assists with the integration of new applications. Documents all development activity. Assists with training non-technical personnel. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. 

  • Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
  • Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Assists with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases.
  • Participates in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications.
  • Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
  • Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
  • Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers.
  • Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
  • Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, project management skills.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s ) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in ABAP programming language and development within the SAP ecosystems. This includes proficiency in ABAP Objects, data dictionary, function modules, user exits, BADI's and enhancements.
  • Good Knowledge on SAP S/4 HANA concepts, data models and business processes. Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA modules, such as Finance, Sales, and BRIM subscription billing. 
  • Develop, modify , and strong debug skillset for SAP ABAP programs in SAP S/4 HANA, utilizing the latest ABAP features and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), which involves writing and optimizing database procedures using ABAP syntax within S/4 HANA database.
  • Customize and enhance S/4 HANA functionality using Advance ABAP development tools, including Core Data Services( CDS), BOPF( Business Object Processing Framework) and SAP Fiori Elements.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP S/4 HANA ABAP programs and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques in SAP ABAP
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration techniques, including REST APIs, Webservice, OData, IDOCs, BAPIs,  and RFCs.
  • Proficiency in C#.Net, Entity Framework, MVC, Angular, familiarity with Cloud technologies, IIS, ASP net, Telerik, Kendo, Jquery , Web services, WCF, XML, SQL Server, Visual Studio, DevExpress, Github .

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:

National Pay Range: $82,219.87 USD-$192,702.83 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
