Job description

Are you a skilled technical expert who ensures the optimal performance of power generation units?

If you enjoy working independently and are seeking an opportunity to flex your mechanical skills, join our team as a Fleet Service Technician! In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and service on power generation units ranging from 30-2000 KW. Maintaining our fleet at 100% readiness is crucial to our success, and we're looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to our mission.

This position involves working in diverse outdoor settings. Safety equipment and hearing protection are provided based on the service location's noise level.

Your job duties:

Sample Management: Collect, ship, track, and email samples for customers, ensuring efficient and accurate handling.

Fleet Maintenance: Conduct maintenance on trucks, rentals, and load banks to keep our entire fleet in top condition.

Safety Adherence: Strictly adhere to company safety practices and other policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

Document Management:  Maintain proper documentation for equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Team Collaboration: Act with integrity, provide outstanding service to coworkers, and foster an environment of teamwork and positivity.

Reporting Responsibility: Report any violation or non-compliance with company policies and procedures by Prime Power Services employees or other business personnel, including subcontractors.

Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions. Effectively communicate with employees within the organization.

Adaptability: Work in ambient temperature and local weather conditions, with necessary precautions and training for heat, cold, and noise. Eye protection is often required.

Training Requirement: Must complete OSHA 10 training.

Technical Proficiency: After training, demonstrate the ability to perform major and load bank tests up to 500KW.

Reliability: Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
