Principle Responsibilities● Oversee the regular maintenance of mountain bike trails and BMX tracks
● Use any and all safety equipment mandated in work area
● Assist in the daily opening and closing of wheels program areas
● Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and request more as needed in a timely manner
● Assist in other wheels programs as needed
● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training● 18 years of age or older
● Required: 1+ yr. experience maintaining trails, tracks, or features
● Required: ability to maintain an organized work space
● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Performance Results● Completes contract period with 1-2 positive experiences with customers
● Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants
● Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant
● Contribute at least one improvement to wheels program area
Physical Requirements● Up to 9 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
