Job Location: Marietta, GA; Open to US Remote Candidates Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager’s role is to identify and recruit new flooring contractors into the Home Solutions and Multi-Family Solutions FEI Group Membership.
Job Responsibilities: - Travel weekly within the identified target markets
- Maintain a high level of contact with potential Member candidates, via phone contact and in-person visits.
- Coordinate and continually communicate recruitment activities between key FEI Members, Advisory Boards and FEI Supply Partners.
- Onboard new members into the FEI Group organization.
- Proactively assist existing Members to utilize FEI member services effectively
- Demonstrate to prospective Members the following:
- The advantages in programs and services they will gain by joining FEI Group.
- Provide constructive feedback about prospective members current operations and how FEI Group can help them improve sales and profitability.
Job Qualifications: - College degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3 years proven demonstrated performance in outside sales
- National experience is a big plus
- Flooring industry experience preferred but not required
Job Competencies: - Dynamic, confident leader who is a self-starter
- Expert facilitator and confident public speaker

Work Environment: Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to ten pounds.
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
