What the Position is About:
- Manage, plan and organize all aspects of events
- Recruit, hire, train and manage marketing staff (currently 3 direct reports)
- Develop and manage event budgets
- Responsible for sourcing events
- Collaborate closely with vendors and service providers to guarantee a positive experience for all parties involved
- Foster strong relationships with clients, sponsors, speakers, and attendees to understand their needs to deliver exceptional events
- Oversee all operations and ensure that events run smoothly, including troubleshooting any problems that arise
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in events, canvassing and project management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Organized and detail-oriented
