Job description
The Vice President, Regulatory and Compliance to provide regulatory and compliance analysis and guidance on a global basis to the senior management team of the company.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Represent the company before gaming regulators, external agencies, suppliers and market access partners.
- Work closely with the operations, business intelligence, product, marketing and payments teams on compliance related matters.
- Develop and manage internal controls, process, procedures and audit compliance.
- Manage efforts for the launch of the company retail and interactive products on a global basis.
- Ensure that all marketing initiatives, affiliate arrangements, marketing communications and product releases are compliant with applicable gaming laws and regulations.
- Manage the company’s applications and licenses with gaming regulators.
- Manage and oversee the company’s compliance plan and present regularly to the company’s compliance committee.
- Work with the senior management team and legal department to provide guidance with respect to sports betting and interactive gaming laws and regulations. The role will work closely with all business teams including corporate and business development, strategy, technology product development, marketing, finance and operations.
- Juris Doctor degree from a top US law school.
- Admission and in good standing to one or more US state bars.
- A minimum of 8 years legal experience with significant experience in regulatory and compliance affairs and internal audit .
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with quick deadlines and multiple demands
- In-house experience in a global organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including legal drafting skills).
- The ability to influence others by developing strong working relationships and delivering excellent commercial solutions to complex legal and regulatory issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the gaming industry
